Report: Seahawks' Lockett ahead of schedule, should be ready for Week 1

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is ahead of schedule in his recovery and should be back for Week 1, ESPN’s Sheil Kapadia told colleague Mike Clay.

Lockett suffered a compound fracture in his left fibula in Week 16 that necessitated surgery.

The Seahawks have built an impressive cast of offensive weapons around Russell Wilson, but rarely has the team had all its pass-catchers healthy at the same time. In addition to Lockett, Paul Richardson and Jimmy Graham have suffered major leg injuries in recent seasons.
