NFL? Nah. College? Nope. TV? Ding ding ding!

Former San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Oregon head coach Chip Kelly is exploring media opportunities, and auditioned for FOX near the end of February, according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo.

The offensive innovator was given his pink slip from the Bay Area in January, and has since been linked to various jobs at the NFL and NCAA levels. The 53-year-old was most recently connected to the Alabama offensive coordinator position.

Kelly reportedly met with the New England Patriots before the Super Bowl, but nothing more than a cup of coffee with his friend, Bill Belichick, appeared to come out of that.

Kelly posted a 28-35 record in four seasons at the NFL level, and a 46-7 mark in college.
