Puerto Rico became the first team from Pool F to advance to the championship round of the World Baseball Classic with its 6-5 win over the United States on Friday.

It’s the second straight time Puerto Rico has advanced to the semifinals. The country lost 3-0 to the Dominican Republic in the championship game in 2013.

Puerto Rico’s advancement means Venezuela (0-2) is eliminated, while the United States (1-1) and the Dominican Republic (1-1) will play for the second berth into the semis Saturday night. The two teams faced each other once already this tournament, with the Dominicans winning 7-5.

Puerto Rico, which has yet to lose at this WBC, will play Venezuela on Saturday afternoon for its final game of Pool F. Should Puerto Rico win, it will meet the Netherlands on Monday at Dodger Stadium.

Japan has already advanced to the final four from Pool E.
