Get ready for more drama, baseball fans. Lots more.

Less than 24 hours after the Toronto Blue Jays swept the rival Texas Rangers out of the playoffs in walk-off fashion, the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox resume their rain-delayed ALDS at Fenway Park, where the AL East champions will try to stave off elimination at the hands of Mark Shapiro’s former club.

The implications of Game 3 – and the next two, should Boston survive to play another day – are quite compelling as it relates to the Blue Jays, who either way will meet a familiar foe in the AL Championship Series.

Will Shapiro get his wish for a showdown between the club he and general manager Ross Atkins helped engineer, or could the Red Sox storm back from an 0-2 deficit to reacquaint David Price and John Farrell with their former clubs? Tell us the ALCS matchup you’d like to see most!
