A host of teams around the league are apparently doing their homework on controversial running back prospect Joe Mixon.

Mixon reportedly met with the Cincinnati Bengals this past weekend and the former Oklahoma standout has visits scheduled with 11 other teams, his agent, Peter Schaffer, told USA TODAY Sports’ Tom Pelissero.

Schaffer didn’t reveal who the other teams were, but said some of the meetings are set for this week.

Mixon wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine due to his assault of a woman in the summer of 2014, but it appears a significant portion of teams are at least considering drafting him.

The 20-year-old may have been a first-round pick, if not for the assault that left the victim with a broken jaw and cheekbone.

Pelissero adds that Mixon isn’t expected to fall further than the third round.
