There will be a familiar face on Middlesbrough’s touchline after Jonathan Woodgate was added to the Premier League side’s coaching staff.
Middlesbrough announced Woodgate is the latest member to join Steve Agnew’s staff, following the arrivals of Joe Jordan and Paul Jenkins.
“Jonathan is someone who we know very well, and who in turn knows this club inside and out,” Agnew said.
“He brings a wealth of experience from the highest level of the game, and he’s a fantastic character. We’re delighted to have him on board.”
Woodgate spent the last four seasons of his playing career with Boro before retiring from football in 2016.
