The Cincinnati Bengals and wide receiver Brandon LaFell have agreed to terms on a deal that will keep him off the open market, agents Schwartz and Feinsod announced Wednesday.
LaFell, who was set to test free agency after playing out a one-year deal in Cincinnati, sticks with the club on a new two-year contract, ESPN’s Katherine Terrell reports.
The 30-year-old put together one of the most productive seasons of his career upon joining the Bengals, hauling in 64 receptions for 862 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games.
Barring a major addition to the receiving corps this offseason, LaFell should have every opportunity to return as a starter opposite star pass-catcher A.J. Green next fall.
