The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers have revealed their lineups for Game 2 of the NLCS on Sunday.
Chicago will send right-hander Kyle Hendricks to the mound in an attempt to jump out to a 2-0 series lead.
The batting order will remain intact one through five to take on left-hander Clayton Kershaw. In a minor change, Javier Baez slides up to No. 6 and Jason Heyward drops down to No. 8.
Jon Lester’s personal catcher, David Ross, will start on the bench while Willson Contreras takes over catching duties.
After the Dodgers got thumped 8-4 in the opener, manager Dave Roberts is rolling out a completely new lineup.
Game 1 starters Howie Kendrick, Yasiel Puig, Carlos Ruiz, and Kike Hernandez will all start on the bench. The four hitters combined to go 0-for-11 with two walks with five runners left on base.
In their place, Andrew Toles will be back in left field and batting eighth, Josh Reddick will go to right field and bat fifth, and Yasmani Grandal gets the start behind the dish in place of Ruiz.
